Must have Islamic applications for those that want to gain Ilm ( knowledge).
The Apps are :
Divine Names of Allah – helps you to memorise the beautiful names of Allah and meanings. (screenshots of the app can be viewed here)
99 names of Allah – another app similar to Divine names but alot more simple and with a tasbeeh counter
isubha – Virtual tasbeeh to help with dhikr, customisable too. (screenshots of the app can be viewed here)
qdua – some duas from the Quran with audio too! (screenshots of the app can be viewed here)
Qword – approx 569 words from the Quran which make up 80% of the Quran to help you understand the Arabic words and therefore inshAllah the Quran in its original language. (screenshots of the app can be viewed here)
iquran pro – quran with arabic text and translation as well as audio and transliteration. (screenshots of the updated version app can be viewed here, though it is not different functionally)
Hajj – guide to hajj (screenshots of the app can be viewed here)
Enjoy!
Interesting blog for the Afgan community and those further afield. Is there anymore like this?
Out of curiosity is anyone going Afghanistan anytime soon?

Great wudu guide for kids
well, people who can afford an iPhone, surely can afford an app that costs a couple of bucks. I say, please buy Islamic apps to support hard working and needy God fearing software engineers / developers, like me

Not afghanistan but might be going to Khyber pukhtunkhwa ( north west pak), why do you ask? And fantastic photography you have, am honoured to have you on my ( relatively dormant) blog.
Thanks for the free apps links. But just one question: why does one has to get his iphone jail-broken? As far as I know, one needs a jail-break iphone only when one wants to install paid applications for free :S
