About Me : Who am i?
I’m a Pukhtana with a passion for many things in life including but not exclusive to my cultural heritage, my religion, my family, my hobbies( the latest being my DSLR Photography!).
My blog is just a place for me to rant on about those passions, and a place i hope that maybe non pukhtuns may learn a bit about what it is to be a Drun(real) Pukhtun and a muslim.
Hopefully inshallah in the foreseeable future, i hope i will be able to bring some lovely pictures of my watan and my people in their pure unadultarated state one day soon inshallah.
Pray for me that it all works out, so i can show the world the beauty of the Pukhtuns and their watan, and inspire others to help our own people so that one day, we, the biggest tribe in the world can progress on and out of poverty war and oppression.
I will try and do my best in whatever way possible for my people, lets hope you will do your bit too, inshallah!

i hav recently come to qatar,and therefor i miss my friends and families very much.here when some pakhtun hear about me he meet with me and teach me how to survive betterly,so i think that pukhtana every where in the world are different parts of the same body.thanks God.

Salamuna, I am so happy to see a Pashtun sister with so much love for her people. It gives me a spiritual joy to sse this re-awakening among young Pashtuns with regard to their roots and people. This is the noblest of the causes Pashtuna to work for your people and humanity at large.

Great – I wish you success in achieving your goal of helping the Pukhtuns. I share your passion, and hope that many more like you would join the caravan. Currently, anti-pukhtun elements have divided us. Our brothers and sisters in Afganistan and Pukhtunkhwa are killed every moment. We need leaders who can get us out of the current mess. All the political parties (MMA, ANP, etc) are bogus. We need to look for genuine leaders who can lead us. We need to wake up otherwise our sufferings will continute. We need to acquire advance education, science and technolgy while holding on to our values, and great culture. We need to dispel the notion that Pukhtuns are backward, illiterate and anti-progress and development.

I would simply say “Fascinating”……was looking for one of Abaseen Yousafzai’s poem and just accidently came across this wonderful blog and really got very impressed especially knowing there are people out there “like me” having so much passion in their hearts for our beloved “Pukhto” and “Pukhtoonkhwa”. Just keep up this good work and please keep us posted (yes we the wanderers from Pukhtoonkhwa in the western world still have that thirst of our homeland and would remain in our hearts for ever). Living thousands miles away from our birth land, I hope you understand our feelings and appreciation of such wonderful sites. I’ll be defintely looking forward for new stuff about our beloved “Pukhtoonkhwa” on this blog. Dera Mannana!!

You definitely worth praising for promoting anything about Pukhto/Pashto on your blog. This introduction about singer “Sharon” who sings Pashto songs so well is just another example of your great work…..keep it up and Allah de Ajar dar Krree…….manana!

hey…… im really impressed by the bit of work you have produced, i have been thinking of doing sumthing for my pukhtoon literature, buh i needed some motivation and now i have got the motivation…… thanks to you, i am waiting to finish my degree( within 6 months time) Nd then planning to go back home, spend some time there and explore evrythink about RAHMAN BABA present in pushtu litrature and then get a proper website , dedicated entirely to reman baba. do u want to be a part of this project, because i am looking for somone with a high intrest for pukhtoo??

Pukhtana…..first of all, congratulations (i think its a bit late, since its been around for a couple of years now i think) on your wonderful website. It’s a very good source of info and literature for me. I say this because you have written pashtu poems in the english alphabet, without translating them into english. You see, I am a “besewad” illiterate of pashtu writing. However, I love my culture, and my language. This way, your writing, has kept the pashtu flavour in the poems, yet allowing me to read them. I’m planning inshallah to learn to read/write in pashtu in the near future, but until then, I will take in the beautiful poetry of Rahman Baba via your site. Thank you very much, and I wish you and all pukhtuns around the world, Success and Prosperity. Khudai de taso tol kamyaab ki, aw sakhtei na de wosaathi

I thought such sites never exist. But now that I’ve seen it I will say well done.
That being said Pakhtun is a great nation and has served this country and Islam for many years in many ways.
But as you all know that our plight has gone from bad to worse and there seems to be no end to it. I live in my watan and it gives me grief and pain to see it like that and don’t know what will happen to this watan.
Pakhtun killing other pakhtun, being killed by its own army or by cross border attacks, suicide bombing, smugglers, rouge mullahs, kidnapping for ransom and sort of stuff that you can only see in movies. Also everyone is escaping out of this watan either abroad or to other peaceful cities. No one wants to stand up to task and say this is my watan and I want no one to destroy me, my tribe and my watan. Thats the way “drun pakhtun” behave (atleast thats what I have in my mind) Zama pukhto that’s what we call it here. Live by laws of Allah and stop people from doing evil no matter what happens. But this is not the case nowadays. We have forgotten what pukhtoon wali is. Nowadays we have become cowards, drug dealers, suicide bombers and all sort of things that is so un pukhtun. Everyone just wants their fifteen minutes or money and never have thought about what pukhtun means.
No one wants to clear up the mess and make this watan a greater one. Not one of our so called leaders wants to change a thing about the plight of our watan. We are all just proud to be pukhtun but don’t want to be drana pukhtuns because it is hard for cousy lives.
We were the nation that used to help not only each other but others and never let anyone down no matter what. The seriousness in pukhtun eyes was the famous thing but now we are the laughing stock.
I hope that this might have given you guys so called pukhtuns some food for thought and might as well think to become a great pukhtoon so that we can save this watan. After all pukhtun were once known for their actions not words.
So for once lets have a discussion on what are the real qualities of pukhtoon is and from there we go on to become drana pukhtun.
By the way pukhtoon has to say what is right and does not care what other person will thnik about it because this what pukhtoon is stick to his words, being straight forward and damn honest.
